Tom Hanks is planning his wife Rita Wilson’s upcoming birthday and he says it will be “magical.”
Rita Wilson will be turning 60 in October and Hanks wants it to be one of the best days of her life.

“They’re assembling the amusement park rides even as we speak,” Hanks told ET at the premiere of his new film, Sully.
“Boy are you going to have a great 39th birthday, my love,” he told Rita lovingly.
Although he wants a big celebration for his wife’s birthday, he was content with a low-key birthday for his 60th in July.
“I grew up having my birthdays in the summertime where everybody is dispersed,” he told ET. “The day will go by with a little bit of a nod and maybe a delightful can of beer.”
