“I’m madly in love with my kid,” Chalke told Us about her newborn. “It’s been really fun.”
“It’s really weird — it’s going so fast that the other day, someone asked me [how old Frankie is], and I gave a number that’s two weeks younger,” she says. “And I’m like, ‘Why am I lying about my daughter’s age?’”
Chalke currently voices Beth Smith on Adult Swim’s animated comedic sci-fi series Rick and Morty. She admitted that during her pregnancy recording her lines was sometimes a challenge and fully blames ‘pregnancy brain.’
“Pregnancy brain — that’s a real thing!” she said. “That’s a real thing, which is the nice thing about doing animation versus live-action, is you don’t have to memorize your lines — you can just read it. But then it’s really embarrassing when you forget your lines, and they’re just in front of you.”
