Pippa Middleton Marries James Matthews and the Whole Event Was Just Breathtaking

Pippa Middleton is officially a married woman.

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton‘s younger sister married James Matthews in a beautiful ceremony on Saturday at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, England, which is very close to where the Middletons grew up.

The bride arrived to the church with her father, Michael Middleton, in a open-top vintage car around 11:30 a.m. local time. The rain thankfully held off until after Middleton and Matthews said, “I do.”

Middleton’s wedding was a family affair, with her nephew Prince George, 3, and niece Princess Charlotte, 2, serving as a page boy and bridesmaid.

Pippa Middleton stunned in a custom-made white Giles Deacon gown with capped sleeves, a corseted bodice, draped front and a heart-shaped detail in the back, Entertainment Tonight reports.

“I was thrilled to work with Pippa on her wedding dress,” Deacon told the press.”It’s a privilege to show the craftsmanship that my team produces in London and a real testament to Pippa’s support of British fashion.”

The gorgeous bride completed her look with a veil created by milliner Stephen Jones, a Maidenhair Fern tiara and matching hairpiece from Robinson Pelham and ivory satin Manolo Blahnik heels with pearl detailing.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a peach dress and matching hat as she pulled double duty at the event as both sister of the bride and the mother of two special members of the wedding party.

Kate was not planning on stealing the show at her sister’s wedding and opted to avoid the crowds and press prior to the ceremony.

And it was sealed with a kiss!

Mr. and Mrs. James Matthews gave the crowd what they wanted as they left the church following their ceremony. In front of them was their wedding party.

Prince William and Princess Kate’s royal toddlers looked adorable in their Pepa and Co. outfits. Charlotte wore an ivory silk dress with a frilled collar, nude pink sash and matching flats. George wore an ivory double-breasted silk pleated shirt with Peter Pan collar and paired it with pale olive Vienne silk knickerbockers and a matching cummerbund.

Approximately 130 guests attended the ceremony, including Prince William, Prince Harry, his girlfriend Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie and tennis pro Roger Federer.

Middleton and Matthews began dating in 2012, but split a few months later. They rekindled their love in January 2016 after Middleton called it quits with longtime beau, Nico Jackson. They confirmed their engagement last July.
