Muhammad Ali’s daughter, Hana Ali, is revealing intimate details about the last moments of the life of “The Greatest.”
It appears he was a fighter even through death, as Hana surprisingly has shared on Twitter, “All of his organs failed but his HEART wouldn’t stop beating. For 30 minutes…his heart just keep beating. No one had ever seen anything like that.”

She continued, “A true testament to the strength of his Spirit and Will!” โ and we couldn’t agree more!
The loss of the boxing legend is being felt around the world and Hana said that for his family, including his nine children and wife, Lonnie, “Our hearts are literally hurting. But We are so happy daddy is free now.”
Ali suffered debilitating Parkinson’s disease for 32 years. He died at 9:10 p.m. (MST) Friday. According to his spokesman, Bob Gunnell, the official cause of death was “septic shock due to unspecified natural causes,” PEOPLE reports.
In her tweet, Hana further revealed, “We all tried to stay strong and whispered in his ear, ‘You can go now. We will be okay. We love love. Thank you. You can go back to God now.’” She added, “All of us were around him hugging and kissing him and holding his hands, chanting the Islamic prayer.”
Ali will return with his family to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. The three-time world heavyweight champion will be laid to rest Friday. The funeral will be held at the KFC Yum! Center at 2 p.m. (local time) and will be open to the public with former President Bill Clinton, in addition to Billy Crystal and Bryant Gumbel giving eulogies.
Fans unable to attend the funeral will have access to an online stream of the service. A procession throughout Louisville, Kentucky, will directly follow.
Gunnell also stated during a press conference Saturday, “Muhammad’s extraordinary boxing career only encompasses half his life. The other half was committed to carrying a message of peace and inclusion to the world,” PEOPLE further reports. “Following his wishes, his funeral will reflect those principals and will be a celebration open to everyone.”
Our continued prayers are with Ali’s family and friends.
