After accepting Snapchat founder Evan Speigel’s proposal last week, former Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr stepped out with her new bling for the first time Saturday night as she headed to dinner at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica, Us Weekly reports.
Along with her 2.5-carat ring ring, Kerr sported a white lace romper and a beige sweater, showcasing her effortless style and her new piece of hardware.

“Miranda’s ring is the quintessence of classic style and understatement,” said jewelry expert Michael O’Connor. “It’s a classic round diamond of about 2.5 carats. The value of the ring would be approximately $55,000. Despite the reported billions Spiegel’s worth, the couple decided on a timeless style that proves they ‘don’t need to try.’ After so many over-the-top rings, this understated, more meaningful ring may be the newest โ and best! โ we’ve seen in a while.”
Spiegel and Kerr became engaged last Wednesday after a year of dating, with the model sharing the news on Instagram.
Kerr was previously married to actor Orlando Bloom, and the couple had one child together, five-year-old son Flynn. A source told E! News that Bloom is “happy” for Kerr and her new engagement.
“Orlando is happy for Miranda,” the source said. “He spoke with and congratulated her.”
“Orlando knows that Evan treats Flynn well so that’s all that matters to him,” the source added.
This will be Spiegel’s first marriage and Kerr’s second.
