Mila Kunis and her husband Ashton Kutcher might be very successful in the entertainment industry, but in a recent interview with Sydney, Australia-based radio podcast The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Kunis shared that their kids won't be reaping those benefits any time soon.

"The one topic of conversation we had even prior to ever having kids was always, 'How do you raise a child to not be an a——?' " said the actress, who is mom to 22-month-old daughter Wyatt Isabelle and is currently pregnant with her and Kutcher's second child.

"It's so important because we both came from pretty solid poverty backgrounds and grew up very poor and are very much self-made and are very aware of what a dollar is worth," Kunis added of herself and Kutcher. "Nothing's been handed to us."

While the actress admitted her children's experience growing up will be different from her own- her kids won't "have ketchup soup for dinner," for example, but she and Kutcher are planning to do their best to encourage their children to appreciate everything they have.

"It's a matter of teaching them from a very early age that, you know, 'Mommy and Daddy may have a dollar, but you're poor,' " she quipped. " 'You are very poor, you have nothing. Mommy and Daddy have a bank account.' "
