NBA player Iman Shumpert and his fiancée Teyana Taylor received a Christmas surprise that they didn't see coming! Taylor, due to deliver their child in January, suddenly went into labor at the couple's home, prompting Shumpert to deliver the baby.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Shumpert said, "She's telling me, 'I'm not going to make it to the hospital. But I'm like, 'You got to make it to the hospital because I don't know what's going on. I don't know what to do.'"

The Cleveland Cavaliers player called 911 and received excellent guidance from a dispatcher. The 911 dispatch call has since been released, and his overwhelming emotion after seeing his baby girl for the first time is obvious.

He also unexpectedly became emotional recounting the story for Good Morning America.

What makes the birth even more interesting is that Shumpert had to use a pair of earphones to tie the umbilical cord until paramedics arrived.

Since her surprise arrival, Shumpert and Taylor have shared several adorable photos and videos on social media with their new baby daughter, Iman Jr. — "Junie."
