Iman Celebrates Tom Ford in First Night out After Losing Husband David Bowie

Iman has had a heartbreaking year.

The supermodel went out for the first time since losing both her mother and her husband, David Bowie in a span of just three months, PEOPLE reports.

“It’s just been a tough year, but I’m holding up,” she said.

Iman had some fun coming back into the public eye with several social media posts, documenting her getting ready process.

The powerhouse model and entrepreneur was wearing a gold necklace in memory of her beloved husband.

“I’m wearing this until my death. [Fashion designer] Hedi Slimane made it for me,” she said. “It just says ‘David.’ “

Friend and fellow supermodel Cindy Crawford was also in attendace at the Tom Ford show, and the pair snapped a stunning selfie together.

Hair stylist to Iman and David, Teddy Antolin said, “they were inseparable” from the moment they met way back in October of 1990.

“They really knew each other because they had come up and traveled in the same circles. They were great together,” Antolin added. “She was a real force and he needed a woman by his side to keep him focused.”
