HGTV Stars Christina and Tarek El Moussa Open up About Parenting

There’s a lot of stress involved with flipping houses, but Christina and Tarek El Moussa have figured out how to balance their careers, their show, and their family life together.

The couple recently opened up about their lives as parents to two young children. They welcomed their second child, Brayden, in September 2015. No one was more excited about his arrival than his big sister Taylor.

“She loves it,” Christina told PEOPLE. “Brayden is obsessed with Taylor. He wakes up about an hour before her, and when I bring him into the room and he sees her, he jumps up and down. They’re best of friends, it’s super cute.”

The Flip or Flop stars share that though the two get along well, they are very different.

“They have completely different personalities,” their mom said. “Taylor, she’s feistier. Brayden is extremely laid-back — “

” — like his dad,” her husband joked.

“No, like his mom,” she fired back.

Another thing Taylor gets from her mom is her love of being on camera.

“She’s kind of funny because she’ll say she doesn’t want to, but then right when the camera is on, she turns it on,” El Moussa shared. “It’s funny to watch, really. She just lights up, like ‘Ready for this!’”

As much as they love having two little ones to redesign a backyard for, they have no plans to have another baby.

“No, no more kids,” the mom of two said. “One of each, two and done.”
