A source called the wedding romantic, “small and intimate,” and shared that Copeland and Evans said their vows overlooking the ocean in front of around 100 guests. Wedding decor included pink and white roses as well as pink hydrangeas.
The insider added that Copeland wore an Inbal Dror dress and Christina Louboutin shoes, and looked like an “ethereal goddess,” which isn’t hard to imagine if you’ve seen the gorgeous dancer on stage!
Copeland, who is a principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre, previously dished to E! News about her wedding plans, revealing that because her ballet life is so glamorous, she wanted a more relaxed feel for her big day.
“It’s interesting that I’m a ballerina, which is so girly and feminine and what every little girl dreams of,” Copeland explained. “But it’s a character I’m playing, and that’s so much fun to be that. It’s, I guess, how people envision their wedding days, and that’s my life.”
“So I feel like I get to become a fairy princess on stage and wear incredible costumes and gowns to galas,” she added. “So, for me, I just want to have a simple, as easy-going day as I can have and just not have it be a big show. I just want it to be simple and classy and not feel like I’m in a tutu.”
