The Dillards added that they will be taking Bible classes while they are in the U.S., as well as continuing to work in ministry during their visit.
“Serving in Central America has been an amazing experience so far for both of us (and Israel!),” they shared. “We feel like we’ve made great advancements in just learning the culture and the language as well as building relationships with so many precious people.”
“Even while we are in the United States we will continue to work on behalf of the ministry,” they wrote, “and the work in Central America will continue.”
The couple also announced the news on Derick’s Instagram, alongside a photo of Jill and Derick smiling together.
“We’re looking forward to being back in the US next month!” he wrote.
