Casey Affleck and his estranged wife Summer Phoenix are officially divorcing and have reportedly already reached a settlement
Phoenix filed for divorce on Monday after being unable to reconcile during the couple’s separation, which began in March 2016. Despite one small discrepancy, TMZ reports that the two have already settled on terms. This is highly unusual, with many high-profile divorces stretching out for months.

The outlet reports that Affleck had originally refused to pay spousal support, as is evidenced by paperwork filed for the divorce. However, he has now signed off on the divorce and sources say that he will be paying for some sort of financial support after all.
There’s no word on if something happened for Affleck to change his mind on the matter, or if the original declaration was made in error.
It’s not yet known what custody terms the couple has agreed to concerning their two children together, 13-year-old Indiana and 9-year-old Atticus. Phoenix, the youngest sibling in the famous Phoenix family, applied for joint physical and legal custody of both children when she made her initial divorce filing.
The two met in 1995 after being introduced by Summer’s brother, Joaquin. They eventually started dating and officially wed in 2006.
Earlier this year, Affleck was faced with resurfaced accusations of sexual harassment as he was campaigning for the Academy Award for Best Actor, which he later won. The alleged incidents happened while he was directing the 2010 film, I’m Still Here (which coincidentally starred Joaquin). The couple was married at the time of the alleged incidents.
