Cam Marries Adam Weaver in Intimate Desert Ceremony

Congrats to country music star Cam and herfiancé Adam Weaver! The two California natives just got hitched in a private ceremony in the desert town of Joshua Tree on Saturday night, PEOPLE reports.

Cam wore a bride’s gown from Jenny Packham for a special sentimental reason, “It reminds me of a dress from the ’30s and I love things from the ’30s.”

140 guests watched her walk down the aisle to the sounds of a mariachi band playing “Bésame Mucho”.

During the reception, the happy couple danced to Miranda Lambert’s “Oklahoma Sky,” which reminds them of a very special date they shared on the California coast.

“It’s just one of the most beautiful songs…It has such an atmosphere to it. It just pulls you in and both of us loved it.”

The highlight of the night for the bride was seeing her husband at the altar and also the churro, or the Mexican cuisine.

The newlyweds will spend their honeymoon in Tokyo and Bali, but the main thing she’s looking forward to the most is enjoying married life with her husband, a commercial real estate agent.

“It’s just fun saying someone’s your husband! I’m excited for our life together, encouraging each other and getting more dogs.”
