We're learning even more about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's tumultuous 15 months of marriage after ET has exclusively obtained never-before-seen text messages apparently sent between Heard and Depp's assistant, Stephen Deuters.

The conversation in May 2014 dates back to before the estranged couple were married and before the other alleged abuse incidents happened that were noted in court records.

The text exchange starts with "Stephen" writing on behalf of a man, purportedly to be Depp. "He's incredibly apologetic and knows that he has done wrong," the alleged text reads. "He wants to get better now. He's been very explicit about that this morning. Feel like we're at a critical juncture."

The recipient of the text, purportedly to be Heard, responds, "Yes but I don't know how to be around him after what he did to me yesterday. I don't know if I can stay with him."

Stephen claims Depp is "distraught" and Heard texts back, "Obviously he has no idea what he did or the extent that he did it. If someone was truly honest with him about how bad it really was, he'd be appalled." She further shares how she remembers "in full detail" what happened, however, Depp is unaware of "the severity of his actions yesterday."

He further claims that Depp has no recollection of what occurred and when Stephen told him, "He was appalled." He continues, "When I told him he kicked you, he cried. It was disgusting. And he knows it."

Stephen refers to Depp as "a little lost boy" who needs "all the help he can get." To which Heard adds, "He's done this many times before." She continues to detail, "I always stay. Always believe he's going to get better...And then every 3 or so month [sic], I'm in the exact same position."

ET has not yet confirmed with Heard or Deuters that these texts are in fact legit.

As previously reported, Heard was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Depp after filing for divorce. She claimed in her court filing that "there was one severe incident in December 2015 when I truly feared for my life" and detailed that Depp was apparently "verbally and physically abusive" throughout the "entirety" of their romantic relationship.

Depp's daughter, Lily-Rose, has publicly supported her father. He is currently on tour in Europe with his band, Hollywood Vampires.
