Jay Cutler has officially come out of retirement.

Kristin Cavallari's husband has signed a one-year, $10 million contract with the Miami Dolphins, just three months after announcing his retirement and becoming a game analyst in May, according to ESPN.

The quarterback was reluctant about the decision to return to football at first, but the multi-million-dollar deal will potentially offer $3 million in incentives.

The 34-year-old had been working for the last few months with Fox Sports and officials at the network sent their well wishes to the NFL star in a statement which read, "We loved our time working with Jay and wish him the best back on the field this year with the Dolphins."

Cutler has not released a statement about the news, but did celebrate the deal with a tweet, writing, "Fins Up!"

Cavallari congratulated her husband before sending him off to Miami. She shared a photo of the two kissing and wrote, "And he's off…but this time as a dolphin so excited for my man on his next journey #MiamiDolphins."

Prior to accepting the new position on the Dolphins, Cutler was cut by the Chicago Bears in March after eight seasons with the team. His family announced in April that they were moving from Chicago and relocating to Nashville.

The couple shares three children, sons Camden, 4, Jaxon, 3, and 1-year-old daughter Saylor.
