Mariah Carey and James Packer Wedding Not Necessarily Too Big

Mariah Carey recently spoke to Kelly Rippa and Jussie Smollett on Live! With Kelly about her upcoming wedding to billionaire James Packer. Turns out it might not be a big and impressive as her stunning engagement ring.

“I never said it was gonna be a big wedding,” the pop diva said.

According to PEOPLE, Carey has recently worked with a Paris-based designer to create another spectacular gown for her big day. This will be Carey’s third wedding, the first to Tommy Mottola and the second to Nick Cannon, and it will be Packer’s second.

The two got engaged in January, shortly after going public with their relationship.

Carey went to France in April where she supposedly settled on a dress with intricate embroidery. She commented that she can’t say where she bought it, but that the designer house was amazing. Carey is only giving up small hints about her overall event.

“I can’t really talk about them right now because everything is still being figured out,” she teased to Kelly Rippa.

What fans can look forward to, however, is Carey’s new E! documentary series Mariah’s World on Live! She says that she tends to break the fourth wall throughout the series.

“Because that’s just who I am, so I’m just like whatever,” Carey said.
