Grey’s Anatomy returns for its fourteenth season on Sept. 28, and fans have been eager to know just what will happen to their favorite doctors.
While nothing is exactly official, several spoilers have popped up in recent months giving viewers clues as to what they can expect when the new season premieres. If you’re a Grey‘s fan, you know that drama is always the name of the game.

Kim Raver returns
Kim Raver will return to reprise her role as Dr. Teddy Altman for a guest arc on the upcoming season, having been fired from Seattle Grace in the Season 8 finale so she could pursue her dream job at MEDCOM.
Jo’s husband arrives
Grey’s fans have been hearing all about Jo’s (Camilla Luddington) estranged husband for multiple seasons, and it looks like he may finally arrive on the scene as Jo will need a divorce or annulment if she wants to marry Alex (Justin Chambers). Last season, Alex came face to face with Jo’s husband, Dr. Paul Stadler, played by Matthew Morrison, and it appears the doctor may have a bigger role to play in the fall.
The end of Japril?
Unfortunately for Japril fans, it appears Jackson (Jesse Williams) will definitely get together with Maggie (Kelly McCreary) in the upcoming season, although the duo’s relationship will reportedly be complicated. In a Season 13 episode, Jackson and April (Sarah Drew) reunited after Jackson met his father, but no word on whether these two will wind up together in the end.
Megan brings the drama
During last season’s finale, Owen (Kevin McKidd) learned that his sister Megan, who was previously played by Bridget Regan, was alive after being missing for nearly a decade. Her arrival will likely cause tension between Owen and Riggs (Martin Henderson), who was previously with Megan before her disappearance. While it’s unclear if she will even remember Owen or Riggs, her arrival is likely to affect both men, as well as Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo).
