Reba McEntire Parts Ways With a Big Piece of Her History

Reba McEntire’s Nashville-area estate has been sold nearly a year after being listed for sale.

Rare Country reports that the lakefront property, which was originally listed in August 2016 for $7.9 million, sold for $5 million on Wednesday.

The estate sits on 83 acres and includes a nearly 13,000 square-foot home that the country star lived in with ex-husband Narvel Blackstock until their marriage dissolved and their divorce finalized in 2015. McEntire had previously put the Wilson County, Tennessee farm up for sale in 2002, but at the time said that she and Blackstock would keep the mansion itself.

Built in 1990, the gated luxury property, known as Starstruck Farm, boasts seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. It has a master suite with it’s own terrace and a marble bathroom. Other features of the home include a chef’s kitchen, wine cellar, elevator and home theatre as well as an eight-car garage, tennis court, horse barn and swimming pool on the property.

It is unclear when McEntire and Blackstock originally moved into the farm which is located in Lebanon, Tennessee, about 30 miles east of Nashville and includes frontage on Old Hickory Lake and sits just south of the scenic Cumberland River.

The sale of Starstruck Farm marks the second mansion that McEntire has sold in less than three years. In June 2015, McEntire sold her Beverly Hills home for $22.25 million. McEntire and Blackstock first purchased the Beverly Hills property in 2003.

McEntire, who is sometimes called the “Queen of Country,” has recorded 26 studio albums and sold more than 85 million records worldwide.

The home features stunning luxury in the master suite

The 12,800 square-foot mansion has seven bedrooms and five full bathrooms, but the master suite is a real luxury standout. The master bedroom itself is a nearly 360-degree round room surrounded by windows that give full panoramic views of the woods and lake the home sits on.

Not to be outdone by the master bedroom’s incredible views, the master bath is itself stunning with a sit-down dressing counter, a marble shower, and a soaking tub that also has beautiful treetop views. The entire master suite also has its own private terrace, further bringing the beauty of nature to the retreat-like space.

The kitchen and wine cellar make the property a foodie’s paradise

Equally as impressive as the beautiful master suite, the “Southern Colonial” home boasts a huge chef’s kitchen with dining room suitable for entertaining a large number of guests.

The home also goes beyond just a wine cellar and has an entire wine room that features floor-to-ceiling wine storage as well as marble counters and intricate tile flooring. In addition to the kitchen and wine room, the house also features a breakfast room and a pool room which has its own marble counter top wet bar.

The other amenities are equally luxurious

If the master suite and kitchen aren’t enough, the rest of the amenities take the property to the next level. The home, which has an estimated $34,000 per month mortgage payment, has a large home theater while the property itself has a little something for everyone, including horses.

On the property is a tennis court, a pool, a guesthouse that has its own full kitchen, an eight-car garage and a horse barn with 16 stalls, 12 fenced paddocks and both indoor and outdoor arenas.  It’s truly a luxurious country retreat.
