5 Best WWE Superstars You Don't Care About
Perhaps no institution commands more attention than WWE. In weeks that contain pay-per-views, some [...]
Neville
It's hard to say Neville is poorly utilized in WWE. I mean, they basically gave him an entire division. And to his credit, he's been fantastic. However, in this wonderful evolution of Neville, we cant help but wonder if there's more there.
As a recent guest on VIP Lounge with MVP, Mark Henry covered the fruitful transition of Neville
"…He's a legitimate tough guy. He's 5-6 or whatever it is but if you had to put him against a bunch of dudes you got in your locker room right now, I think Neville would kick their ass.' I told Neville, 'You have to believe it. If you don't believe it, it's not going to happen.' " I told him, 'You need to be me.' That motherf--ker is killing it. I love Neville's sh-t right now."
Nia Jax
Nia Jax may have the brightest future of anyone on this list. For the most part, WWE's women look and wrestle similar styles. However, Jax is a stark abandonment from the somewhat formulaic women's division. Ironically her promising potential could come to light in just a few weeks.
As we saw on RAW, Jax injected herself into the Championship picture by turning on Alexa Bliss. Sooner rather than later, Jax will have her title shot; look for it to come at No Mercy.
It's not just me, either that's feeling Nia Jax. On his podcast, E&C's Pod of Awesomeness, Edge sang the praises of the up and coming women's star.
"Nia Jax on RAW, I'm a big fan of hers. I think she's what they could base the entire Women's Division around and just have her as this unbeatable, conquering machine."
Luke Harper
Luke Harper has vanished.
Seriously. Considering that he was in line to challenge both Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 33 for the WWE Championship and now is quite literally absent from WWE cameras, it's been a head scratching few months.
Even further, when trying to decipher the "why" behind his banishment is even more perplexing. Harper is a large and impressionable man. Not to mention he's surprisingly nimble in the ring. So what gives?
Well, if WWE has a hard time in getting Harper's ringleader Bray Wyatt going (they do) then how can we expect them to have great plans for a secondary Wyatt Family character?
Sami Zayn
The title of this slideshow may be a misnomer for Sami Zayn. Maybe he falls under the category of "Wrestlers WWE doesn't care about."
Perhaps no one has a stronger cult following that Zayn. The lovably neurotic wrestler has had a rough go establishing himself on the main roster. It seems like WWE can only find value in him challenging Kevin Owens.
Does Sami Zayn need to be the Universal Champion? No. But he could do great in WWE' upper mid-card. Maybe he ought to think about answering AJ Style's next Us Championship Open Challenge.
Mojo Rawley
Mojo Rawley is obnoxious. However, he is not the first WWE Superstar to be so. In fact, WWE built its empire on characters that were "over the top." I mean, imagine sitting down to a quiet dinner with Macho Man.
WWE is at least a little interested in building Rawley as he is the most recent Andre The Giant Battle Royal Winner. It's also possible that they're more after his pal, Rob Gronkowski.
Regardless, Mojo is impressionable, and that matters in wrestling. Earlier this year, Stone Cold underlined his liking for Mojo on an episode of his podcast:
"Just as far as the charisma of this guy, he's got something...he's got a real ease with words and I thought the way he presented them came off as organic as hell."
