The Big Baller Brand has stolen the headlines for the WWE this week. When LaVar Ball and his sons invaded WWE Raw, their unscripted promo bewildered the WWE Universe and landed WWE on every sports news show in the nation.

While some wrestlers were disgusted by the performance, one WWE star who watched it from afar thought it was perfect. In the video above, David Otunga told TMZ that he wants Vince to get LaVar back on the show as soon as possible.

“I’ll say this. I found that to be the most entertaining segment of the show.” “That dude is a character.” “I like him exactly the way he was. That dude is out there. That makes me want to tune in because I don’t know if he knows what’s going on … or if he’s going in business for himself.”

“I loved it. I hope they have him back and I want to come do a segment with him. Come on! Vince, please do it! Let me do this one. I’ll come and do this one for you and for the rest of the world.”

David Otunga is right. In the scripted world of WWE, having something happen that is unpredictable is a breath of fresh airโ€“even if that air makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

The only thing wrestling fans love more than watching a great segment is making fun of a truly awful one.

While Vince McMahon may have been irate about the younger Ball dropping the N word on WWE TV over and over again, he has to be thrilled with how many headlines the Big Baller Brand has nabbed for the organization.

As for Otunga getting to do a segment with Ball or anyone of note, I wouldn’t hold your breath. The RAW announcer has been off for several weeks while shooting for the upcoming film, Love and during that time he has been replaced by the more LaVar Ball-esque styles of WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T.

While it seems unlikely for Vince to bring the entire family back to the WWE, you can bet he’ll keep LaVar’s number handy as long as he’s culturally relevant.
