What a show! I challenge anyone to find me a better 3 hour (and 15 minutes) show on Monday nights. Really though, RAW was fantastic last night. So much drama, so much destruction, so little women!

OK, the last part was highly questionable, but hey, we still had fun. WWE is clearly breaking out the good stuff as we march towards SummerSlam and it was about time. Whether WWE checks or not, RAW’s ratings have been worse than bad, and last night was a strong declaration that WWE will suck no more.

Up Next: Roman Reigns Names Himself Number One Contender

The night was filled with highlights. Roman made himself number one contender which lead to his and Samoa Joe‘s phenomenal match. Speaking of, Braun Strowman is back! Big Cass is a filthy traitor and Enzo can cry on command.

But all of this is obvious, and obviously is easy. In 3 hours of show, WWE packs a lot of subtle moments – I think I caught all of them, but perhaps not. Either way, I’m here to help divulge some subtle information. With this, you’ll be armed to prognosticate WWE’s future, because everything big, once was small. Here are 5 Things You Missed From Raw:

The Miz Has a Stable

Who needs a wife when you have friends?

Poor Miz, he’s trying his best to keep his marriage intact, but can’t help from being a coward. It looks like he and Maryse are destined for a split, but at least he now has Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas fro emotion support.

By the way, WWE needs a segment where Miz is kicked out of the house and is forced to stay at Axel’s and Dallas grody apartment. Make it happen!

Finn Balor vs. Elias Sampson

This could be great. I’m personally counting down to the moment where Elias turns his guitar into sawdust over Balor’s supple back.

Frankly I’m surprised that WWE is going with this. That said I’m excited. I think WWE was getting a little ahead of themselves with Balor in the main event and this beef with Sampson will pad his main roster resume. Don’t be surprised is Sampson beats him a few times, though. If Honkey Tonk Man can be a great Intercontinental Champion then Sampson might as well be a Hall of Famer.

Shout out to Devon Dudley with the timely medical response to Balor’sย beat down!

Seth’s Best Work

I’m betting that most of you genuinely did miss this. Rollins came out to promote his WWE 2K18 cover – a true accomplishment considering the company he’s joined. The Kingslayer did his best to play the part of a babyface, but man, that’s just not him. Bless his heart, he’s trying.

Negativityย aside, this was some of Rollins best efforts on the mic. He really hit his groove once he got into his exchange with Bray. The dialog was pointed, logical and quotable. 3-3!

To top of his hot night, Rollins did the smartest thing any superstar has done in a while – he executed a sneak attack on Bray Wyatt during his lights off entrance. Brilliant!

The Powa of Tazawa

I love this guy. And that was before he dropped the Senton of all Sentons. Tazawaย has an innate charisma about him and already has the WWE fans playing along with him. He owns an explosive move set that will correlate well with his budding nemesis, Neville.

The Titus Brand stuff is good, too. Even if can feel flat at times, the fact that WWE is adding depth to Tazawa’s character is a great sign. Will he beat Neville? He may steal a victory, but really, Neville shouldn’t lose a math for a very long time.

Girls

Yes, there were no women on WWE programming last night. I mean I guess there was, for like 5 minutes, but I ask you this: if you use all the girls in 5 minutes, is it that same as using zero?

Before we start a sex war, let’s take a breath. Last night was a big night for WWE – the episode centered around Roman Reigns and the return of Braun Strowman. That and the 20 minute overtime segment of Big Cass’ turn. Is that a viable excuse for shorting the women like that? Well, no. The show is 200 minutes long.

The RAW women hare had trouble seeing a solid foundation since the Supestar Shake Up. WWE needs to give them a little love.
