WARNING: Spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 7 ahead! Read at your own risk…
Game of Thrones is notorious for keeping its biggest spoilers as close to the chest as possible, which is why it’s a little surprising that one of the show’s biggest stars spoiled one of the twists in the Season 7 finale.

What’s even more surprising is that the actor revealed the spoiler over two years before it aired.
Back in 2015, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime, appeared on Conan to talk about Game of Thrones. After making some jokes about faking fans out with spoilers, Coster-Waldau seemed to make a jab about the coming season. He laughed as he proceeded to tell Conan O’Brien he’d reveal one spoiler for him.
“Well, you know how Cersei and Jaime have this incestuous relationship? Well, the dragons do too,” Coster-Waldau said.
Everyone laughed at this comment, as it seemed like he was talking about the actual dragons getting together. However, now that we’ve seen the Season 7 finale, we all know which two incestuous dragons get together.
It was revealed that Jon Snow is actually a Targaryen and that Daenerys, who he slept with on Sunday, is his real father’s sister.
It’s unclear whether or not Coster-Waldau knew that Jon and Dany would hook up or not, or if he was just joking about dragons. Either way, he totally revealed one of Season 7’s biggest moments long before he was supposed to.
Now it’s time for every Game of Thrones fan to start searching back through every interview Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has ever done to try and figure out what will happen in Season 8.
