Currently, the 28-year-old holds the UFC Lightweight Championship, as well as a professional MMA record of 21-3, and his opponent, Mayweather, is unbeaten.

All these stats and more, celebrities are taking into consideration when deciding on who they think stands the best chance of winning.

Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke briefly with journalists and, while he didn’t pick a side, he did say, “I’ll be there.” The former California governor is also a huge boxing fan and frequently attends high-profile fights.

Interestingly, Arnold has even been to a couple of Mayweather’s fights in the past. He also checks out a UFC match now and then and was present at UFC 189 where Conor McGregor fought Chad Mendes.

Many other celebs have been tossing there two-cents in as well, as reported on by PEOPLE.

Diddy

Back 2015, Diddyย won a $250,000 bet against Mark Wahlbergย over the outcome of theย Manny Pacquiaoย vs.ย Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight.

So, it stands to reason, the hip-hop mogul is tossing his support back over the Mayweatherย again this timeย around.

In a recent commercial for the big fight, Diddyย andย Wahlbergย throw on some gloves and hop into the ring themselves while talking about their picks.

Diddyย exuberantlyย says that he’s rooting for “Money Mayweather, baby,” before exclaiming, “I’m going with the champ.”

Mark Wahlberg

As previously mentioned, Wahlberg lost a 250,000 bet toย  Sean “Diddy Combs when he picked Manny Pacquiao over Floydย Mayweather Jr. back in 2015.

The veteran actor is betting against the boxing champ again, however, in favor of the UFCย star, Conorย McGregor.

In a video ad for the fight that features Wahlberg and Diddy, the Boston-born star shows off a pair of white boxing gloves that have a green shamrock printed on them.

This strongly suggests that he is team McGregorย all the way.

Sylvester Stallone

TMZย caught up with Stallone and asked him who his bet is on.

He said that thinksย Conorย McGregorย has good oddsย against Floydย Mayweather, and then went on to joke, “Then again, I live my life in fantasy.”

Stallone is, as you can imagine, a huge boxing fan, but what you may not know is that he also is a minority owner in theย UFC.

The 70-year-old actor added, “I always have the underdog.”

Mike Tyson

Boxing legend Mike Tyson is choosingย Mayweatherย over Mcgregor, but he has a professional-based opinion for why.

Tyson thinks that McGregorย doesn’t stand a “chance” against Mayweatherย becauseย boxing rules don’t allow for hisย mixed martial arts skills.

“McGregor is going to get killed boxing,” Tyson said in a podcastย interview.

He added, “McGregor put his dumba–ย in a position where he’s gonna get knocked out because this guy’s been doing this all his life, since he was a baby. McGregor can’t kick and grab and stuff so he won’t stand much of a chance.”

Interestingly, back in 2015, Tyson called Mayweather aย “scared little man” after Mayweatherย referred to himself as “TBE (The Best Ever)”ย while alsoย comparing himself toย Muhammad Ali.

Steve Austin

Legendary WWEย wrestler Steve Austin is of the persuasion that McGregorย has a genuine shot at taking home the “Money Belt.”

Soon after the bout was announced, Stone Cold took to his podcast to say, “If Conor hits [Mayweather], he’ll knock him into next week.”

Theย 52-year-old thenย added, “That’s a big if, but on the other side of that I don’t think Mayweather can hurt Conor โ€“ he’s as tough as nails.”

Lastly, Austin summed up most everyone’s feelings by saying this is certainly “going to be a damn interesting fight.”
