One man had a little too much fun at Disney World. In a new viral TikTok video published Monday, he can be seen jumping off a bridge into Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon. During the clip, a Disney visitor stands on a bridge within the Italy Pavilion in the World Showcase while a voice off-camera shouts, “You’re building a crowd! You’ve gotta go!”
The guest jumped in the water, resurfaced a few seconds later, and swam to a nearby Venetian-style gondola while the person filming exclaimed, “Oh my f— God, dude!” There are also guests off-camera shouting, “Make a run for it!” and “Run, run, run!” as the person heads back to the pathway.

The park guest allegedly pulled this stunt after being bet $6,000 that he would jump into the lagoon at World Showcase. The video from a different angle claims the man is a TikTok user named @Elit3Trainers, and the bet is for $6,000. “@Elit3Trainers jumps off epcot bridge for $6,000 bet… what would you do it?! Lifetime ban or 1 year?!” the caption reads.
There have been instances in the past where guests who have violated the resort’s rules by entering restricted areas have received strict bans from the entire resort as a result of their actions. As of now, there is no news on whether or not the man has been banned from Disney World for his stunt.
Over the past year, Disney World and other Disney parks have experienced a number of guest-related incidents. Splash Mountain’s flume ride was in motion when a rider jumped out in May 2023. During a TikTok video, a rider is seen walking along the track leading to the castmember staircase before the vehicle transports her inside.
It is in the video that the person who is filming the ride, Fatima Yusuf Wright, arrives at the turn to Brer Fox’s house, and she notices a young girl walking along the set, where guests shouldn’t be. “What the hell?” she asks before she can turn the camera on the woman.
The rider is asked, “What are you doing?” Someone asks the rider. “I can’t. I’m about to have a panic attack,” the person replies before she starts walking down the staircase. After Wright’s ride vehicle entered the mountain, the entire ride stopped. “Craziness the last weekend of splash mountain! Thank God she didn’t get hurt!” Wright captioned the video.
The original Splash Mountain opened at Disneyland in 1989, while the Magic Kingdom ride opened in 1992. The rides will be rethemed as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, featuring characters from the 2009 animated film The Princess and the Frog. With characters from the controversial 1946 Disney film Song of the South, the original ride was conceived by Imagineering legend Tony Baxter. Splash Mountain closed at Magic Kingdom on Jan. 23, but Disney has yet to announce plans for revamping it at Tokyo Disneyland.
