There still may be a few days left in August, but Netflix is already giving subscribers a tease at what’s to come next week. This week, the streaming giant unveiled its complete lists of TV shows and movies hitting arriving in September 2024, and mixed in with licensed titles including Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Field of Dreams are nearly four dozen Netflix originals
The September originals list includes plenty of returning favorites, including some titles that will grow Netflix’s reality TV library, with The Circle and Selling Sunset returning for their respects seventh and eighth seasons. Meanwhile, following its premiere last month, Emily in Paris Season 4 will be back with new episodes. September will also see the return of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s true-crime anthology series Monster, with Season 2 shifting focus to the Lyle and Erik Menendez story. Completely new to the streamer will be originals like Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef and What’s Next? The Future with Bill Gates. The lineup also features some star-studded originals, including the Nicole Kidman-starring mystery series The Perfect Couple and the Joey King-starring film Uglies, based on Scott Westerfeld hit novel series.
