Per Parade magazine, The first Super Bowl was actually called the First AFL-NFL World Championship Game at the time and was played on Jan. 15, 1967 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. The Green Bay Packers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10.
