Alberto Del Rio told Mexican media outlets that he had a drug prescription from his doctor and that he failed his drug test due to high levels of testosterone. Well, Del Rio has failed those drug tests for use of steroids.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the high testosterone statement was not all of the story and that Del Rio did in fact fail for steroids. Meltzer was apparently told things off the record that he is not able to report yet.

This only solidifies Del Rio’s decision to leave WWE and brings up some very interesting questions about Brock Lesnar only getting suspended for his doping. What is the difference here?
