On ABC show "The Bachelorette," Jordan Rodgers has opened up about his relationship with his estranged famous brother Aaron. Until now, Aaron has not made any statements regarding Jordan, or his run on the popular dating show.
The NFL quarterback mentioned his relationship with Jordan, but didn't exactly open up. He told ABC's WISN news station: "As far as those kinds of things go, I've always found that it's a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I'm just - I'm not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition."
In case you're wondering, Aaron is not an avid watcher of "The Bachelorette." Because he hasn't watched the show, he likely has not seen Jordan say on national television that the two "don't have much of a relationship," and that Aaron isn't close with the rest of the family. He also would not have seen the empty chair that his family left for him on Jordan's hometown date.
"I haven't seen the show, to be honest with you, so it hasn't really affected me a whole lot," Aaron stated.
Jordan is a former quarterback at Vanderbilt who attempted a career in the NFL. He is now one of the final two contestants on the ABC show. Jordan stated on the show, "I chose to stay close to my family and my parents and my brother." He continued, "Yeah, it's not ideal, and I love him. I can't imagine what it's like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has and the demands from people that he has. [I] don't have hard feelings against him. It's just how things go right now."
Hopefully all the Rodgers family drama will be worked out between them.
"The Bachelorette" airs on Monday nights on ABC.
