The latest group to do so was Coldplay, whose frontman Chris Martin performed a moving tribute to Bennington at the group's concert in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Tuesday.
Martin used the first show of Coldplay's North American tour to perform an acoustic version of Linkin Park's "Crawling," sitting at the piano to perform the Grammy-winning tune, first heard on Linkin Park's debut album, Hybrid Theory.
The crowd clearly recognized the song, erupting in cheers as Martin began.
Bennington was laid to rest over the weekend at a private funeral in Los Angeles, The Hollywood Reporter shares. More than 500 family members and friends attended and Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda delivered a eulogy.
