Thanks to the prominence of the internet, one of the newer trends in the world of fandom is discovering and traveling to the locations in which your favorite movie has been filmed, no matter how isolated that location might be. Mike Pasquale, Evil Dead superfan, began the task of renovating and restoring the cabin seen in the film’s sequel, with one of the pieces being too large to put on display anywhere, taking to eBay in hopes of finding a home for the piece of horror movie history.
According to the eBay listing, “I no longer have the room for this piece or a large enough area to use it as a display piece. I do not want to cut it up or dismantle it in any way. It survived the collapse of the Cabin and would hate to cause any damage to it.”

Pasquale makes sure to clarify, “This is the actual exterior wall from the front upper left side of the original Evil Dead II Cabin.”
In case you doubt the authenticity of the piece, Pasquale details, “In relation to the movie, this piece would have been above the clock and cellar door. The wall is fully intact. It is approximately 16 feet long and pretty heavy. Shipping can be done via U SHIP services at the expense of the buyer or can be picked up by the buyer in Weirton, WV.”

According to his site, EvilDeadWorkshed, Pasquale got into contact with the owners of the property upon which the cabin resided to discuss the prospect of giving the location a new life. With the cabin itself having collapsed in April of last year, Pasquale began taking artifacts from the site to tour various conventions, allowing fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with what remained of the structure.
For many who are interested in artifacts from horror movie history, finding the original location of the cabin is a near impossibility, and although the current price for the item is around $1,500, the collector often sells other items recovered from the location on his website.

The first film was shot in Morristown, TN, and with the iconic nature of the cabin, fans began to remove bricks and other pieces of the cabin to keep as artifacts. The original structure no longer exists, with only a pile of scattered bricks in its place.
