If Sylvester Stallone's Instagram account is to be trusted, one of Rocky's greatest foes is preparing to enter the ring once again.
Over the last couple of weeks, the actor has posted a series of photos to social media indicating that Ivan Drago, the Russian boxer played by Dolph Lundgren, could have some influence on the potential Creed sequel.

If you recall, Creed wowed audiences in 2015, telling the story of Apollo Creed's son, played by Michael B. Jordan. Rumors of a sequel have been circulating since the film debuted two years ago, but Stallone is making things sound official.
Stallone first posted a few behind-the-scenes pictures from Rocky IV, showing off his antics with his buddy Lundgren. In the text of the posts, he mentions Creed 2.
A few days later, Stallone took things even further. The actor shared an image of Michael B. Jordan and Dolph Lundgren squaring off in the ring, with Rocky watching from the ropes. The caption said "Here's a chance to stretch your imagination...HISTORY WILL ALWAYS REPEAT ITSELF IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER, JUST GOT TO BE READY!...Sins of the Father... #creed2"
While this isn't a confirmation of a Creed sequel, or of Lundgren's possible involvement, but this does get the fans thinking.
Could the legacy of Ivan Drago come back to haunt Rocky and Adonis? Let's hope so.
