The singer shut down a troll who came for her on the Fourth of July, providing a simple and epic response to an online hater who shamed her on Twitter.

Clarkson had originally posted a patriotic message for the holiday, writing, “Thank u 2 every person in service 4 protecting all of us and cheers to every person who fought for us to experience freedom & independence.”

Because this is the Internet, Twitter user @Euger23 replied, “You’re fat.”
Luckily, Clarkson didn’t let the comment get to her and brushed it off with a flawless response, writing, “….and still f–king awesome.”

The singer has previously faced criticism over her weight, telling Ellen DeGeneres in 2015 that she has been receiving negative comments for years.
“I love how people think that’s new โ like, ‘Welcome to the past 13 years,’” People reports Clarkson as saying. “Yeah, I was the biggest girl on [American Idol], too. And I wasn’t big, but people would call me big because I was the biggest one on Idol, and I’ve kind of always gotten that.”
