New Details Revealed About Johnny Galecki’s Role in ‘Roseanne’

The question surrounding Johnny Galecki’s return to the Roseanne revival may finally have its answer.

Although the Big Bang Theory star’s involvement in the ABC revival remains an open question, new details have been revealed. His character, David Healy, will most likely be making multiple appearances in the eight-episode continuation.

The network declined to comment on the matter, but TVLine learned that the show’s producers have begun searching for a young actress and actor to play Galecki’s David and Sara Gilbert’s character Darlene’s children.

In the 1997 Roseanne series finale, David and Darlene’s relationship ended and paired the two with Becky and Mark. But now, it seems that will all be undone. The twist in question revealed that much of the show was a creation of Roseanne‘s imagination.

Darlene and David have two kids, one of them – daughter Harris – was introduced to viewers in season 9. Harris will be 14 years old when the show returns and their other children, a boy, will be under the age of 10.
