Summer is all about the music and Darius Rucker’s latest single just might be the anthem of the season.
Rucker’s new song “For The First Time” was released on the country musician’s VEVO channel on Thursday, Whiskey Riff reports.

The foot-stomping song embraces the adventure of summertime with lyrics that ask “when was the last time you did something for the first time?” while the chorus encourages listeners to “let yourself go / follow that feeling / maybe something new is what you’re needing.”

“For The First Time” comes just in time for windows-down sing-alongs ahead of the release of Rucker’s still untitled follow-up to 2015’s Southern Style expected this fall.
