Celebrities React To Gregg Allman's Untimely Death

The drummer for The Beatles, Ringo Starr, left a sentimental message in reaction to Allman's death which read, "Rest in peace Greg Allman peace and love to all the family." He also added a plethora of emojis.
He wasn't the only musician adding emojis to their tribute. Michael Sweet, who is co-founder and lead swinger for the band Stryper as well as the band Boston, took to Twitter sharing his sadness as well as his prayer to Allman's family.
He wrote, "Prayers and thoughts go out to the @GreggAllman family, friends and fans. Heaven has another amazing musician. God Bless you Gregg. L&R," and added a few prayer hands.

Country, bluegrass and Southern rock star Charlie Daniels shared a few tweets to remember his friend Allman. In the first tweet he wrote:

And in another he shared a picture of himself and Allman in their youth with the caption, "

Melissa Etheridge also took to Twitter sharing a few words for the passing of Allman. In her first tweet she wrote, "My southern-rock heart is breaking....#GreggAllman." And in another she shared a pic of Allman showing her his tattoos.

Cher, who shares son Elijah Blue with Allman, took to Twitter to react to the news, writing, "IVE TRIED…WORDS ARE IMPOSSIBLE GUI GUI?FOREVER, CHOOCH?."
"My heart breaks today at the passing of soul brutha Gregg Allman," Keith Urban wrote. "Blessings and peace to all the Allman family."
John Mayer also paid tribute to the musician on Twitter. "Eternal love and life to Gregg Allman. ? RIP ?," he wrote.

It wasn't all celebrities to come out and react over the passing of Allman.
Sherrilyn Ifill, who is a lawyer and President and director-counsel of LDF, took to Twitter to pay respect the legendary musician.
She started off by saying she wasn't much of a country music fan but a few of Allman's songs could held a place in her heart. She wrote, "Not a whole lot of country music songs I love, but "Ramblin' Man" sure is one of them. Rest in Peace Greg Allman."
She also spoke mentioned how Allman was one of the few country artist to speak out against the confederate flag.
