After reporting in to a facility likely close to Los Angeles in about a month and a half and serving her time, Miller will have an additional two years of supervised release, Chief Judge Joy Flowers Conti told the crying defendant and a packed courtroom on Tuesday.

“You weren’t truthful, even when you knew you were supposed to tell everything, you still weren’t truthful,” Conti told Miller. “Somehow you got caught up in the world of fame and you lost your moral compass,” she added.

The detailed charges carried with them up to $5 million in fines and a possible five years in jail. If precedent for such white collar crime is a factor, it is likely Miller will not end up serving her full sentence in prison and be out in about nine months.

Lifetime nor Dance Moms producer Collins Avenue Entertainment has responded to the ruling. But Twitter has.

Whileย the news is undoubtedly devastating for the choreographer, social media users haveย been having a field day with the announcement.ย

Most of the reactions to Miller’s jail sentence has been jokes or people claiming that the ex-hosts mean actions on her former show are what led to her heading to prison.

One user joked that Miller would now be choreographing a dance routine for her fellow inmates, photoshopping the Dance Moms host onto a picture from the hit-musical Chicago.

Comedian Jeff Dwoskin joked that Abby would be at the bottom of the pyramid, referring to her weight.ย

While another Twitter user, Daddy D, took the opportunity to state that Abby’s prison sentenced is a win for the long-running rivalry between Abby’s dance team and the Candy Apples.

While most users took to joking about the sentencing, some took a more serious approach.

One Twitter user, Lynne Hayes-Freeland,ย showed a picture of some Dance Moms cast members outside the courtroom awaiting Miller’s sentencing.

The user made sure to point out that some of the mother’s in the picย are not a fan of the ex-host.

In the photo we see Kelly Hyland and Christi Lukasiak, who were original cast mates but left the series with their daughters after the fourth season finale.

A user promptly replied to this tweet, stating all the mother’s at Abby’s studio were jealous of the host and that she did not deserve the hate she was receiving. ย

While both moms have had issues with Miller in the past, Abby’s biggest rivalry was with Hyland who physically attacked the host in the fourth season.

During an argument Abby tells Hyland to remove her finger from her face. Hyland refuses and Abby attempts to bite her finger causing the mom to take a swing at Abby.

One user, Gary Janettiโ€, pointsย out Miller’s behavior on Dance Moms as the reason she will be sentenced to jail time. Saying Miller is a “nightmare.”

A few of the Dance Moms students took to social media to show support for their teacher.ย

Elliana Walmsley shared a photo onย Instagramย with the dance teacher, writing, “I love you Miss Abby. I wouldn’t be where I am without you. You have taught me so much about dance and life. Look how I can bevel now and ‘break’ my feet. You mean SO much to me and I will always be there for you.”

Maesi Caes shared a collage of photos with Miller on Instagram prior to hearing the news of her sentencing.

“Sending so many powerful, positive vibes, HUUUUUUUGGGGGEEE hugs, LOTS of love and prayers of strength across the miles to @therealabbylee for my #maesismotivationalmonda,” Caes wrote. “Sometimes the strength within you is not a big, fiery flame for all to see. It’s just a tiny spark that whispers ‘YOU GOT THIS.’”

She continued, “Wishing you all were as blessed as me to know the REAL Miss Abby, who is truly inspiring, generous and passionate about not only the art of dance, but instilling and sharing that passion with all of us whom she was proud to call her own. Can’t thank you enough for teaching me about more than just dance … but more importantly about LIFE.”

Kamryn Beck also shared a sweet message alongside a black and white photo with Miller on her Instagram story.

“Don’t believe everything you see on t.v. You’ll be in my prayers @therealabbylee. love you,” she wrote with a red heart.ย

It wasn’t all words of terror from Twitter. Some users actually stood behind the former Dance Moms host during her difficult time.

One user dropped in a quote from a mother, Mindy Stabler, who defended the ex-host sayingย Millerย has always been about the children and the woman everyone sees on the Lifetime series is not really her.

While another user, Steve Pope, dropped in a quote from Miller herself which stated that when Dance Moms became a hit reality series, Abby became a joke.

Check out both tweets below:

Another Twitter user wished Abby the best in her sentencing and vowed not to continue watching the Lifetime series if certain cast members returned with the departure of the former host.
