The Voice officially announced its advisors for the NBC show’s upcoming thirteenth season, and coach Blake Shelton is bringing the country, selecting trio Rascal Flatts to help mentor his new team.
The group, made up of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney, marked the occasion with a photo on Instagram, sharing a shot of the trio standing with Shelton.

“When @blakeshelton asks you to be guest mentors on @nbcthevoice, by gosh, you do it!” the caption read. “New season kicks off September 25. We’re pumped to be there!”
The group also spoke to Extra about their new gig, with LeVox sharing that working with Shelton is “a lot of fun.”
“Blake’s got such a great ear turning his chair around and finding great people, so it’s been awesome meeting them and giving them some tips,” he said. “It’s been a lot of fun working with him. A lot of talent, a lot of talent on team Blake.”
Added Rooney, “This is so fast, you’re talking about a few months and you’re on the world’s stage. It’s a whole level of pressure, it’s really impressive to see… It’s really inspiring to all of us.”
Fans can also expect to see Rascal Flatts perform on the show with Shelton, according to the coach.
“Yes, I’m going to because this is my show and people do what I tell them to do,” Shelton said.
As for the other coaches, Miley Cyrus will be joined by her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, Adam Levine will welcome Joe Jonas and first-time judge Jennifer Hudson has recruited Kelly Rowland to mentor her team.
