24 star Kiefer Sutherland was arrested in Hollywood yesterday morning.
The actor’s arrest came after he allegedly assaulted a rideshare driver after entering the driver’s vehicle, ABC7 said.

According to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were called to the scene of an assault on Monday at 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of Fairfax Avenue and Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. Sutherland was arrested on the scene.
“The investigation determined that the suspect, later identified as Kiefer Sutherland, entered a rideshare vehicle, physically assaulted the driver (the victim), and made criminal threats toward the victim,” the statement said.
The alleged assault victim did not suffer any injuries and did not need medical treatment.
TMZ reports that Sutherland was released from custody on $50,000 bond and has a court date set for February 2.
Sutherland is best known for playing Jack Bauer on FOX’s beloved early 2000s action series 24. He starred in all eight seasons, as well as the TV continuation movie and the sequel miniseries 24: Live Another Day. He won an Emmy for his role in the series.
His most recent major role was in Clint Eastwood’s courtroom drama Juror #2, released in late 2024 to critical acclaim.
