Twins are an anomaly in life, so having a celebrity that’s a twin is especially rare.
Some twins have made their careers off being an identical duo. Most know Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who are arguably Hollywood’s most famous twins, from their childhood movies and TV specials. Tia and Tamera Mowry rose to fame on the sitcom Sister, Sister, and Dylan and Cole Sprouse played tween brothers on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

However, many other celebs made it on their own in such a way that most fans have no clue that they’re a twin.
Scroll through to see which celebrities are actually twins.
Scarlett Johansson
While you may have seen Scarlett Johansson party it up with an identical-looking grandma, she actually has a real life twin — fraternal twin brother, Hunter.
Hunter doesn’t keep nearly as high of a profile as his Avenger sister, but he did appear as a very minor character in Scarlett’s 1996 movie Manny & Lo.
The two still appear close, as they’ve been spotted out together numerous times over the years.
Ashton Kutcher
Ashton Kutcher has a fraternal twin, as well. His name is Michael and he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a young age.
The Netflix star has discussed the lessons he learned from Michael several times over the years.
“I was born a twin and from the moment I came into this world I had to share it with someone,” Kutcher previously said. “I shared every birthday, every Christmas, I shared my bedroom, I shared my clothes, I shared everything I had in this world and I didn’t know that there was another way because I always had my brother with me.
“My brother was born with cerebral palsy and it taught me that loving people isn’t a choice and that people aren’t actually all created equal. The Constitution lies to us. We’re not all created equal. We’re all created incredibly inequal to one another, in our capabilities and what we can do and how we think and what we see. But we all have the equal capacity to love one another, and my brother taught me that,” he added.
He concluded saying, “When I got older, I spent years and years feeling bad about it, our inequalities. He also taught me that he had gifts that I didn’t have. Extraordinary gifts that I didn’t have, and that every time I felt sorry for him in life, I made him less. He taught me that and he gave that to me.”
Aaron and Angel Carter
Aaron Carter has been in the news as of late for some criminal troubles, but fans know him for his music career and his time on the reality show House of Carters.
One of his siblings on the show, Angel, is actually his twin. Angel is currently based in Los Angeles and has a pretty robust social media following on her Instagram, @angelcharissma.

Ronde and Tiki Barber
Football fans probably knew Tiki and Ronde Barber were siblings, but they’re more than that. They’re twins whose connection extended all the way into their careers.
The NFL legends started their NFL careers in 1997, but on two different teams. Ronde played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1997 to 2012, and Tiki played for the New York Giants from 1997 to 2006.
They’re one of the most acclaimed families in football, with eight Pro Bowls, four first-team All-Pro appearances and a Super Bowl win (Ronde, 2003) between them.
Joel and Benji Madden
Joel and Benji Madden are one of rock music’s most notable brotherly duos. While many noticed a resemblance watching the two as members of Good Charlotte, a lot don’t realize they’re actually twins.
The two have two musical projects going currently. The first is their aforementioned original band and the second is a collaboration between the two, simply called The Madden Brothers.

Kiefer Sutherland
Another “secret” twin is Kiefer Sutherland. Many know that his father, Donald Sutherland, is a Hollywood legend, but most don’t know about his twin sister Mary and her showbiz ties.
While Kiefer is known for being in front of the camera on 24 and Designated Survivor, Mary has also made her mark on TV. She has production credits on many shows, including Rookie Blue, Saving Hope and The Kennedys.
Aaron and Shawn Ashmore
Shawn and Aaron Ashmore take being identical twins to another level. Many just think that one or the other is incredibly prolific.
However, both brothers are incredibly successful actors with bib roles in the superhero realm of pop culture. In addition to a main role on The Following, Shawn has played Bobby Drake/Iceman in four X-Men films.
Aaron has carved out a place in the TV superhero world by playing Jimmy Olsen in 53 episodes of Smallville. Additionally he’s starred in Warehouse 13 and appeared on shows like Veronica Mars, In Plain Sight and Big Little Lies.
