CNN News Anchor Kate Bolduan Expecting Second Child

CNN news anchor, Kate Bolduan is pregnant again!

The 34-year-old host of CNN‘s At This Hour With Kate Bolduan is expecting her second child with husband, Michael Gershenson, managing director of real estate at The Carlyle Group.

Bolduan took to Instagram on Saturday to share the news with fans and viewers with a series of photographs of her nearly 3-year-old, Cecelia sporting a t-shirt that read, “I’m so cute, my parents are having another.”

Bolduan captioned the image between heart emojis, writing, “The many phases of realizing you’re going to be a big sister.”

When promoting the CNN special chronicling the roots of its esteemed anchors, Bolduan appeared on New Day, the show she co-anchored early on with Chris Cuomo, and said that motherhood had totally changed her.

“I’m a little puddle of love,” Bolduan said when asked about motherhood with daughter, Cecelia, AdWeek reports.

While it’s unclear how far along Bolduan is or whether she’s having a boy this time, the Goshen, Indiana native and her husband stay mostly private about their life.

Bolduan joined CNN in 2007 as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource, providing breaking news coverage and feature reports for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. She later went on to be a part of The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, and co-anchored New Day with Chris Cuomo and Michaela Pereira.

At This Hour With Kate Bolduan airs every weekday morning at 11 a.m. EST.
