“I wrote her a book as a gift for our first anniversary,” the 40-year-old actor told Cosmopolitan UK. “It was about how we met, as well as our courting, and was about 40 pages long… I love my wife a lot.”

Manganiello revealed details on how he managed to sweep Vergara off her feet following her split from Nick Loeb. The love story involves an incredibly romantic gesture and a Modern Family co-star.
“I was on a press tour when I found out Sofia was single [after splitting from Nick Loeb],” he told the publication. “I got her number from Jesse Tyler Ferguson [Sofia’s Modern Family co-star], then flew to New Orleans to take her on a date.”

Sofia Vergara recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and talked about her husband’s birthday party. She admitted that she loves the fact that he is “getting old.”
Vergara and Manganiello have been married since Nov. 22, 2015. They tied the knot during a romantic ceremony at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
The actor proposed to Vergara after only six months of dating.
