There was a reason everyone was so shocked when Yolanda Hadid and David Foster announced they were splitting up because it seems Hadid was surprised, too!
On Dec. 1, 2015, the couple announced in a joint statement that they were ending their marriage after four years, which also happened to be the same day Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returned for its sixth season.

According to E! News, the statement shocked Hadid’s cast members because they saw no sign that anything may have been ending soon, but apparently neither did Hadid.
The model explained on Watch What Happens Live April 12 hosted by Andy Cohen, “I didn’t know it was ended until Nov. 15. We had already wrapped shooting and the show as done.”
Cohen asked Hadid whether she thinks her illness played a part in why Foster wanted to divorce.
“You can’t underestimate how much it takes for a man to take care of somebody that’s sick all of the time,” she said. “David didn’t change; I’m the one that changed. And I guess this is the outcome of that.”
“Did you feel blindsided?” Cohen asked.
“Yeah,” Hadid admitted. “I didn’t think that was the end of the road.”
She also said the timing of the divorce wasn’t right either.”I would have hoped to wait until I got 100 percent well.”
