Alex Rodriguez Spills Details About His Relationship With Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have quickly become a power couple in the public eye in recent months. The stars have openly posted about each other on social media, but neither have really discussed the inner workings of their relationship.

Rodriguez was just profiled in the Hollywood Reporter and shared some details about what makes their relationship work.

"We both appreciate where we are in our lives," he said. "We appreciate being parents, and we're so similar; we're both kind of workaholics."

The couple's work addiction is apparent, as A-Rod is a regular on various sports shows and Lopez has been balancing a new album cycle with her shows World of Dance and Shades of Blue. However, they're often spotted at each others' engagements, so they're each super supportive of their respective endeavors.

The former MLB star also dished on the couple's first public outing, Anna Wintour's Met Gala in New York City.

"There was a great deal of paparazzi," he said. "They were telling me to get the hell out of the way so they could get a good shot of Jennifer."

Rodriguez doesn't dive too far into the couple's relationship when asked about which one of them asked the other out. However, he did reveal that they love binge-watching TV. Lopez also FaceTimes him when they're apart, and she even video-called him while Rodriguez was being interviewed for the profile.

Lopez and Rodriguez have been dating since the spring and clearly show no sign of slowing down any time soon.
