One of the most overlooked moments in tonight’s episode of Game of Thrones is the possibility that Cersei might be pregnant.
At one point, Jaime walks into Cersei’s quarters to speak with her, and Qyburn is there. We heard Qyburn say, “I could give you something,” and Cersei assures him that isn’t necessary.

After Qyburn leaves, Jaime tells Cersei that he met with Tyrion about the army of Whitewalkers. Cersei reveals she knew about the meeting.
Jaime explains to her that they should consider an “armistice” in order to fight the army of the dead as one unified front.
“Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it. For ourselves, for our house, for this,” she says.
When she says “for this,” she places her hands over her stomach as if to signify that she is with child.
Jaime looks at her, raises his eyebrows, and then the surprise sets in as they stare at one another.
He begins to tear up and asks, “Who will you say is the father?”
Cersei replies, “You.”
Jaime hangs his head and says, “People won’t like that.”
Cersei stands to her feet and asks him, “Do you remember what father used to say about people?”
“The lion does not concern himself with the opinions of the sheep,” Jaime answers, pulling her close and kissing her.
As they embrace one another, the smile on Cersei’s face washes away and in a serious tone she says to him, “Never betray me again.”
The scene ends with a shot of Jaime’s face looking noticeably distraught.
With only two more episodes left this season, it’ll be interesting to see how this new plotline develops.
