Chris Pratt and Anna Faris recently announced their separation, and things could get messy if it continues into a divorce.
Each member of the comedy power couple has a decent amount of wealth in the bank. Pratt reportedly made $26 million in 2016 from his roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World franchises. Faris gets a large check from her CBS sitcom Mom, making a reported $125,000 an episode.

Fox News delved into what financial issues could arise if the couple formally divorce. It all really comes down to one thing — a prenuptial agreement.
There’s no word if the couple agreed to one or not, but if they didn’t, they’ll have to split their earnings and assets in half.
While Faris has had the longer career, Pratt has racked up earnings since their 2009 marriage. If there’s no agreement in place, he’ll get the short end of the stick. Farris would have a reasonable claim to those big checks earned from his recent work.
“While both Mr. Pratt and Ms. Faris had Hollywood successes before their marriage and likely brought significant assets into the marriage, Mr. Pratt has enjoyed his greatest box office paydays during the… marriage, which could likely lead to Ms. Faris having a very strong claim to a portion of Mr. Pratt’s earnings incurred during their marriage,” said Jason Hopper, practice manager of Cordell & Cordell law firm.
It’s also presumed that Faris would be entitled to child support payments from Pratt.
