Country music star Brad Paisley has been mixing comedy into his songs for years and now he’s bringing his brand of comedy to Netflix.
On Thursday, Netflix released the trailer for Paisley’s upcoming comedy special Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo. The special, which promises to be “a little bit country and a whole lotta fun” features the country singer alongside comedians John Heffron, Nate Bargatze, Jon Reep, Sarah Tiana and Mike E. Winfield.

The trailer even shows a peek of special guest star David Hasselhoff, who asks Paisley “You’re doing stand-up now?”
Paisley paid homage to his beloved city of Nashville by filming the special during two shows at Zanies Comedy Club Nashville as part of the Wild West Comedy Festival.
While it may come as a surprise to some fans that the singer is interested in comedy, it actually makes plenty of sense. During his nine-year tenure hosting the CMA Awards alongside Carrie Underwood, he showcased that signature quick wit every year.
Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo debuts on Netflix Tuesday, August 15. You can watch the trailer below.
