Up Netx: Aaron Carter Makes Surprising Claim Leading up to His DUI Arrest
Aaron Carter, 29, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. His passenger, girlfriend Madison Parker, was also taken into custody for alleged marijuana-related offenses. Carter was released on Sunday after posting bail, E! News reports.
The younger Carter brother, who used to open for Nick Carter‘s group the Backstreet Boys, has a history of issues with marijuana. In 2005, photos of him when he was 15 and smoking pot were published in The National Enquirer. The photos “damn near ruined my career” Carter said.
He was also previously arrested in Texas in 2008 for possession of at least two ounces of marijuana. He also spent a month in rehab for addiction concerns in 2011.
