With the Rob Kardashian‘s bombshell revelations about Blac Chyna and the resulting legal actions taken concerning them, many fans have been wondering if the former couple’s reality show would be cancelled or rushed ahead to cover the drama. Well, it seems that fans wont be getting any more Rob & Chyna for the foreseeable future, but not for the reasons one would think.
E! has announced that Rob & Chyna is not planned to return for its second season this fall. The show’s absence isn’t due to the revenge porn scandal, but instead due to an already-made decision.

Apparently the Kardashian family lets the network know what reality shows are making sense for each season, as far as their life situations and relationships are concerned. When Rob and Chyna broke off their engagement earlier this year, the plans for a second season of Rob & Chyna were put on hold.
“While filming on Keeping Up with the Kardashians has been ongoing, spin-off Rob & Chyna has not been in production for several months and the series is not currently on the E! schedule,” an E! spokesperson told Variety. “As always, we follow the family’s lead regarding their lives and relationships, and viewers saw firsthand as the family discussed putting Rob & Chyna on hold in an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians this spring. Keeping Up with the Kardashians is not filming right now.”

Rob & Chyna premiered in September 2016 and was already renewed for a second season. The network did note that the show wasn’t necessarily cancelled; production on its next season has not just not been put in motion.
So while this ongoing scandal could either ramp production up or doom it, reality TV fans will have to stick with Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the upcoming documentary series about Kylie Jenner, Life Of Kylie.
