It’s hard to distinguish between what’s personal and what’s legal in the saga that is The Hardys vs. Jeff Jarrett and GFW. While the two sides are indeed embroiled in a legal battle for the rights to the highly coveted “BROKEN” gimmick, they can’t help but sling a little mud.
Yesterday, Matt divulged further proof that the Broken gimmick rightfully belongs to him and his brother, Jeff.

When a fan from Twitter asked if Vince McMahon would have footed the bill for the Hardys’ production, Matt was emphatic.

But the real fireworks were left to his wife, Reby Hardy. She claims that Jeff Jarret and GFW have summoned a gag order and have not only broken the agreement, but have lied in doing so. Reby says the Jarrett and GFW conspired to shut down the Ring of Honor PPV that the Hardys were involved in, adding that GFW itself has no money.

Ever since The Hardys made their return at WrestleMania 33, Matt and the WWE Universe has been dying to unleash the personas that made them a cult favorite during their last days in TNA. In that same span, TNA/Impact president Ed Nordholm has been adamant that without financial compensation, the Broken Universe would only be seen in the TNA archives.
The former Tag Team Champion noted on Twitter only a week ago that the “Great War” was days away from ending, appearing to reference the ongoing trademark issues with Anthem and GFW/Impact Wrestling regarding the rights to the “Broken” universe.
