Jeff Hardy wants Roman Reigns.
The Hardy Boyz recently joined Corey Graves for their own WWE Network Special, Reborn By Fate. It’s about a 15-minute taping where the Hardy’s discussed their surprise return to WWE and what remaining goals they have left for their professional wrestling careers.

Matt Hardy would allude to a future splitting of their tag team:

“I’m very happy doing our tag team deal right now, but I think there will be a day when we both take on a single’s role. Jeff has won the WWE title. That’d be my goal, try and win a major single’s title. I like the process of taking risks to evolving and changing and I think that’s one of the most exciting parts of this now. And I think that will happen when we both do our own thing as single’s competitors.”
To which Corey Graves asked for them to share their WWE dream match.
Without hesitation, Jeff said his dream opponent was The Big Dog.

Jeff would go on to add that other than Reigns, he’s fixated on one more milestone:
“My main thing is a Hell In A Cell. I’ve never had one of those matches and whether it’s a tag team Hell In A Cell or a single, I’ve got to do that before I’m done. That’s on my bucket list for sure.”
Do the math, folks. Hell in a Cell is October 8th. Reigns vs. Hardy.
There’s just one problem, it’s a SmackDown pay-per-view. So unless something drastic happens we’re going to have to wait a while, and possibly forever.
Both Hardys actually were enthusiastic about the idea of locking up with Roman. Proof that as far as WWE goes, Roman Reigns is at the top of the totem pole. Seeing one of the Hardy Men wrestle Reigns sounds like a lot of fun, but it’s hard to see WWE maneuvering in that direction.
But as the saying goes, never say never. Stay tuned folks.
